October

So we have hit fall and it is becoming chilly around here. We do still have some days in the 80s but most days are cooler now. Sometimes one even has to wear a hat and scarf. :D I am in the process of making a whole bunch of them so if you need any just let me know and I will whip one up for you.

At the market

it has been officialy two months

since I have last blogged *hides in corner*. Since then a lot has happened. I have been selling goods at the clarksville downtown market every Saturday from 8 A.M. to 1P.M. I really enjoy ebing down there and interacting with the people there.

I also spent two weeks in Germany hanging out with my family for my granparents 60th anniversary. Sadly 5 days after the event my grandfather passed. But I can say that he has had a good and full life and that I know for a fact that he is where he belongs.

Because I felt like it I made a cake for a potluck and it was a hit :) everyone loved it.
now here are some cake pictures in steps
first the biscuit

after cooling it i cut it in half and froze on half

then i mix the cream cheese layer :)



then i put a ring around the base and pour this on the base and refrigerate it
once it has hardend i put on the final touches and finished is the Torte

Mrs CLause

Here comes Mrs. Clause her comes Mrs. Clause

And yes I know it is late but during christmas time i bought June's elf, reindeer and snowman pattern

(the pic is a link to buy June's pattern)
and I did make a reindeer and he was cute but i decided why not make a mrs clause , she is utterly unrepresented.
I thus used June's elf pattern with the reindeer ears and created Mrs Clause. I changed some of the colorings and added the hair and bun :)
